Yanmar M200 Lubricator

Mega Marine supplies genuine and reconditioned lubricator for Yanmar M200 marine engines, along with complete engines and a comprehensive range of spare parts. Fast RFQ response and global delivery.

About this part

The cylinder oil lubricator delivers precisely metered doses of specially-formulated cylinder lubricating oil directly to the liner surface within the piston ring zone. Modern systems — including Alpha lubricators and electronically-controlled variants — time oil injection to coincide with ring passage over the quill holes for maximum efficiency. Cylinder oil has high total base number alkalinity to neutralise sulfuric acid formed during combustion of high-sulfur heavy fuel oil.

Function in the Engine

Delivers metered cylinder oil to the liner surface at the piston ring zone on each engine cycle, neutralises sulfuric acid formed during heavy fuel combustion to prevent cold corrosion of liner and rings, maintains the oil film between piston rings and liner bore to reduce wear rates.

About the Yanmar M200

200mm bore Yanmar M-series medium-speed engine for propulsion and generator applications in smaller commercial vessels.

Common Issues Requiring Replacement

Blockage of oil delivery quills by carbon deposits or debris, sticking or worn check valves allowing combustion gas back-flow, incorrect oil dosage rate causing either oil-starved liner wear or excessive consumption and fouling, pump element wear reducing delivery pressure and consistency.

Mega Marine supplies genuine OEM and quality reconditioned lubricator for Yanmar M200 engines, with full traceability and global shipping to any port worldwide. We respond to quote requests within 4–6 hours.
